Compared to ordinary photo paper, this resin-coated photo paper is designed with a special microporous coating for excellent color performance.
Pack of 100 sheets, 8.5"x11" size, 200g/㎡, about 7.8 mils thick(a little thin). Great for framing or use in photo collages.
Satin texture, soft gloss finish, flat and smooth photo printer paper.
The water-proof layer provides extra protection to the photo to keep it long-lasting
Only the satin side is printable. Recommend printing with 'Paper Type' set to 'Photo Paper'.

Koala vs the name brand (Epson) paper.

This an excellent choice for my purpose. The colors are very close to the name brand paper. So for preliminary proofing - at half the price - it's a perfect substititute. So far as I know there is no evidence about Koala's archival properties, but this doesn't matter at all if I'm saving the expensive papers for when I need archival prints.
